The B.Q.S.C. is the brain child of Robert Aguilera, an El Paso, Texas native with a long culinary history and an intense love of dirt and soil. In Bueno Queso he hopes to recapture the Sunday afternoons of his youth, focusing on friends and family members gathering around food- not just any food, but food being produced by great people in the most simple, honest ways- especially in the backyards of New England. Robert has been a cheesemonger for 7 years, the last 6 years at Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, MA. He is currently General Manager of Operations at Farmsteadinc in Providence, RI. He is an enormous fan of food and wants to share his findings with everyone.

Robert is assisted by the original 2/3 of Bueno Queso: wine guy Derek 'Delicious Riesling' Whitaker of Atlantic Importing and wine girl Julie Cappellano, manager of South End Formaggio, Boston.
